RECONCILIATION
I pray, my son, from the bottom of my heart, that someone is with you in that moment you are called. Someone who loves you like me. Someone who misses you like me. Someone who breaks like me. I pray, my son, from the bottom of my heart - that it never will be me.

Reconciliation

The ocean is smooth and dark as the Derbyshire marble

Split in a golden path between me and the moon

Down below rest the remnants of fear and agony

Yesterday the waves tore blindly in rage

Ripping the sails and causing the ships to sink

Someone lost his life in the sea

I came to the shore to find peace

Seeking the same obvious reconciliation

That made the ocean glimmer in the moonlight
